As measures to contain Coronavirus (COVID-19) increase, it is important to us that we provide you with some further information about what we are doing, here at Burke & Associates Lawyers, to ensure our services are maintained effectively, consistently and excellently for our clients (past, current and future) and others in our network during this critical time. We understand that it is a very uncertain and anxious time for our clients, referrers and stakeholders, with the unknown impact of COVID-19. We will continue to monitor, respond, advise and support through this difficult time.
As we provide, and will continue to provide, our legal advice and services remotely, we don’t anticipate a significant impact on our ability to service you, other than holding face-to-face meetings. However, technology allows us to hold these meetings with you by video or telephone conference as an alternative.
Being early adopters of many technological advancements in legal practice, much of our legal advice and services are already provided by way of email, videoconference or teleconference methods.
Our team will continue to service the community during this difficult time, as per normal. We are set-up and fully equipped to work from any location with minimal disruption.
We expect that limiting in person meetings will only affect a very small number of clients, who we will be in touch with further (for example, our ability to witness the signing of client documents in person).
We have advised, and are continuing to advise, many clients about how COVID-19 is currently impacting their business, their teams and their people (both within Australia and internationally), and how it is likely to impact in the short, medium and long term future. Please don’t hesitate to contact us if you have any concerns or you would like further advice.
